Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Z-Lite Closed-Cell Sleeping Pad Regular: Maybe I am doing something wrong, but every time I used this pad, the next morning, the mat was wet due to condensation. This was during the Spring, Summer and Fall. My bag would eventually get wet as well which made it colder at night. If you are car camping, pass on this type of pad. Comfort and packing wise, no issue there.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Z-Lite Closed-Cell Sleeping Pad Regular: I tried this out on a concrete floor. If it can make that comfortable, it can make anything comfortable. Not for those who require a real bed (for that you'll want an inflatable mattress) but it makes a fine buffer between the ground and my old bones.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Z-Lite Closed-Cell Sleeping Pad Regular: It's huge when it's packed. Really takes up a ton of space. it's almost the size of a day pack. I bought 3 of these for 3-person tent. and It took up 1/4 of the trunk of the car. We were backpacking for 2 miles from the car and these things have no straps and are too big for mat straps that come with backpacks. It's light but way too bulky.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Z-Lite Closed-Cell Sleeping Pad Regular: Good value. 3 out of 5 on bulk but packs light as it isn't very thick. Works great for 2 night weekend trips. Hiked to top of Mt. Mitchell and used for 2 nights and loved it.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Z-Lite Closed-Cell Sleeping Pad Regular: I really like the packability of this pad - it just folds up with no effort and likewise unfolds. From a comfort standpoint, it feels just like my older RidgeRest that I have to roll. I haven't tried it in cold conditions - it looks like it won't do as well in the snow as the normal RidgeRest, but not much of an issue here in Texas. I liked it so much I bought 4 of them for my family.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Z-Lite Closed-Cell Sleeping Pad Regular: I am a teenager hiker, and i like to keep my pack very light and bring as little and light as possible.this pad is better than a blow up mat because 1 you dint have to inflate it, and 2 you dont have to worry about it tearing and then having to sleep on the ground. it is very comfertable and very inexpensive! worth every penny.

Best Uses Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Z-Lite Closed-Cell Sleeping Pad Regular: Very uncomfortable and not that lightweight. Next time I will use a cheap air mattress for comfort and weight.

A:
Yes, this does fold up accordion style.Q:
I'm planning to get this thermarest and I need a sack for this. Which size of the sack should I get for this?1 answer
A:
The Thermarest Z-Lite Closed Cell Sleeping Pad does not need a sack, since it's closed cell foam and water-resistant. It's designed to fold up like an accordion.Q:
Can you compress these into a stuff sack? And if so, about how small does it compress down to?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Since this is a close cell pad it will not compress. If folds up and is meant to be carried on the outside of your pack. the advantage of close cell foam is that it will not absorb water so if it rains the foam will not absorb moisture.Q:
are thes pads washable?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You can hand was these with cold water and a mild detergent.

Merchant response: Sounds like you may have been using this close cell pad in a tent. Condensation will happen when the dew point is high and the temperatures cool. The best way to reduce the condensation is increase the ventilation in the sleeping area.
