The back of the cushion fits well between the top of a seat in a car and the bottom of the head rest (in raised position). But, it's too bulky in the back to work while on an airplane. I also wish it was less firm and more moldable. Pros

It is now on her travel check list along with her passport and boarding pass. She loves the memory foam that its made out of. Its easy to pack when your not using it and will adjust shape to any car or airplane seat. This is NOT the cheapo ones that they have at the airport.
