This hammock is really not made for hot weather camping. The fabric does not breathe very well, and I found myself sweating profusely, well into the night. That being said, I have to add that I was camping in central North Carolina in July,in a heat index of 105, so I'm sure that did not help matters much. Pros

All hammocks this one included will be a cold proposition in cold weather. Cold air will circulate under you taking warmth away. In cold weather use a hammock pad between you and the hammock.

The hammock does not come with straps. The ENO Slap Strap Hammock Hanging System would be the straps you would use.
