  • Q:

Bought this at garage sale. How do you make it self inflate?

If your mattress is new, or has been stored rolled or compressed for a significant amount of time, it could take up to 24 hours for the foam inside your mattress to fully regain its loft and maximum self-inflating efficiency. To help with this, we recommend inflating your mattress fully by mouth to help stretch the foam core back to its original loft.

  • Q:

What is the difference between the thermarest #40044 and #43028? Or is there a difference

Item 40044 is the older version. The newer version # 43028 has softer fabric, softer foam and is more compressible. 43028 also comes a stuff sack that has compression straps so overall it is mor compressible for packing. Both have the same thickness, length, width and R value.
