Three nights in bag. 48 degrees and windy/raining. Keep me warm, except for the battle with the zipper. One night after a 2 AM pee I could not get it to zip back for the rest of night.

Is this bag good for short distance backpacking trips? I mostly car camp but I also need something that will compress and is fairly light. Thanks

                      A:

The Columbia Reactor, at 2 lbs. with a stuff size of 9"x17", is a good choice for 3-season short distance backpacking trips.
