Comments about MTI (marine tech) MTI Calcutta Angler PFD: I use this lifevest for kayak and small boats fishing. It has may bags and to carry small fishing accesories. The only thing because I cant give five star is because the back does not fit the kayak seat like other vests.

Comments about MTI (marine tech) MTI Calcutta Angler PFD: Fits well. Doesn't interfere with kayak paddling,sitting, casting, retrieving. Not uncomfortable in Alabama heat unless it is too hot to be in the sun anyway. Don't know about flotation. Haven't been in water with it yet.

Comments about MTI (marine tech) MTI Calcutta Angler PFD: A great PFD. My only issue is the lack of durability of the Pin-On retractor holder, which tore after half a dozen uses. It's a tiny thing, and not an issue if you're not going to use it. If you do, put the pin through the device as well as the underlying nylon.

The Calcutta Angler does qualify for white wafter rafting. It is Coast Gurard approved. There is alot of foam in the neck area so the product may be a bit uncomfortable when sitting down for a long time.Answered on 9/8/2011 by Anonymous
