Perfect for snowy day hikes on gently rolling hills, easy to moderate trails or the backyard, the Atlas 825 features a rigid, durable and lightweight 6000 series aluminum frame. Flexible and durable Nytex decking is quiet in the snow and resistant to cracking in the cold. Atlas' Free-Rotating™ Suspension system cushions each step, allowing natural articulation of the foot, and provides unparalleled freedom of movement for trail versatility. The Strapp™ binding is easy to step into with almost any hiking boot and provides molded arch support to keep feet from tiring. Quickly tighten or loosen binding straps with the simple Uniloop pull system. Tempered steel toe and heel crampons provide moderate traction for icy or hilly areas.

Comments about Atlas Snow-Shoe Company 2011 Atlas 830 Snowshoe - Men's: Hiked 10 Adirondack high peaks with these so far. They were great in the deep snow and when climbing steep icy terrain. There are better shoes out there, but for the price these will get you anywhere a $300 pair will.

Extremely easy to get in, and the bindings never loosened at all. I would highly recommend them. Too bad the season is over, but looking forward to next season!

THese are are good quality snowshoe that feels sturdy when you put them on and they seem like they should last. When I used them they worked well and were definitely worth the money. The only thing they do not do well is go down moderately steep hills. On my way down one hill they slipped out from under me but it say in the item description that they are better for rolling hills so this was not really a surprise. Pros

We got some snow the week after I gave them so be was able to use them right away. Neither of us have used snowshoes before, but he said they were super easy, a good winter workout, and that walking in our woods after the snow was very cool - "like walking on the moon" I think they will be used for a long time and the quality and style of these snowshoes was exceptional for the cost!
