These snowshoes to not have a true hinge of any kind. The boot straps are way too large for a small womens foot. The crampons are steel not aluminum as described.  Pros

Comments about Redfeather Recreation II 22 Snowshoe for Women: I've never used snowshoes before, so the binding/buckles were a bit hard at first, and I'm not sure if all snowshoes are like that. But they fit tight and seem very well made. I walked in deep snow the first time and sank a bit, but they did not come loose, also no problems going up and down hills. I did kick up snow, so now wear snow pants! And if all the bindings are like that I would actually rate them as 5 stars. Pros
