Product was what I ordered. The only difference was the color of the pair in the ad was blue and the pair I received was orange. Just makes it easier to find them in the snow.

Comments about Tubbs Timberline 30 Snowshoe:

Compared to other good-to-high quality snow shoes, especially since I was focused on Carbon steel cleats instead of aluminum, these offered a good value for new, brand-name shoes, for the ocassional recreational user. Binding system was easy to use and did not open up during use so far. The heel strap and buckle maybe could be a bit better designed but it worked fine regardless. Cleats seemed to do what I had expected of them and had good grip in differing conditions and differnt slopes/gradients (upward, and downward; used them mostly on groomed and ungroomed XC trails in the NE).

The size felt a bit longer for me than maybe it should be, but that was completely my issue since I am on the smaller side of the size range for these shoes, instead of being on the heavier end of the size scale.

They did support me well off trail without breaking through too much cover too deep. No strap to keep shoe from rotataing when high-stepping but that was no problem either, having been expecting that.

Comments about Tubbs Timberline 30 Snowshoe:

I have owned several pairs of Tubbs snowshoes over the past 20 years and they have always been excellent...the Timberlines are no exception. The only issue I have with them is that they are a little tough to get a heavier boot into the binding. I am sure they will get easier as the bindings stretch with repeated use, but at present they take a bit of time to get strapped into. Once you are strapped in, however, they are not going anywhere but wherever you choose to walk (or run, for that matter). Outstanding product that I recommend highly.
