Comments about Leki Snowflake Baskets: I used these on my treking poles. I bought 2 pair because I had lost one of the originals the first time I used that style basket. Didn't need them. The first pair stayed on tight.

It is a bit difficult to tell when the basket has been turned enough, so be careful to put it on so that it does not fall off. Buy two sets in case you lose one - they're inexpensive.

One of mine popped off midway through a snowshoeing adventure last winter and it wasn't until a bit later that I realized it was gone - made my poles pretty much worthless for the other half (downhill) of my trek. So make SURE they are JAMMED onto your poles, and carry a spare pair just in case you lose one.

Comments about Leki Snowflake Baskets: very happy to receive as I needed a set for a journey that next weekend. They fit very tight on the pole - so tight that removal might take an act of God. To get them seated correctly, it took brut force to twist them on - good - they won't come off like others, bad- they are about impossible to take off for casual hikes without them on the poles.
