That means you always have 1 wasted battery. With some other models, you can split a 4-pack with a friend. The other models however, develop some problems over time.

Light weight and comfortable held up after being submerged several feet, stayed on during tower jumps into ponds. Great for night runs, adjustable beam angle and nv cover is nice feature. The open the battery compartment for the Petzl Petzl Tactikka Plus Headlamp there is a forward facing tab on the top of the headlamp, just pry this up with a fingernail and the battery compartment is located inside.Answered on 11/19/2010 by Steve from Campmor
