      Comments about 32 North STABILicers:

I bought these to shovel snow on a steep driveway in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. They performed very well the first time I used them.
I have a boot in the small end of the range listed and I have to work to be sure the product is on securely.
It is important to stay centered on these 'platforms' too. It is easy to 'roll off' to the side.

        Comments about 32 North STABILicers:

I bought these to use while wading in rivers, not for walking on ice. They are large enough to fit over wading boots. Hopefully they will work on slippery rocks as well as they do on icy sidewalks.Haven't been able to try them out yet as the river is still too high. Instead of the replacement studs, I found sheet metal screws to use as replacement studs when/if I lose any.

        Cleats fall out

        By Northerner

        from Vermont

        Comments about 32 North STABILicers:

We have three pairs of these, and they stop you from slipping on icy trails. Great concept.

Unfortunately, a pair I bought a year ago hasn't held up well. I've used them less than 20 times, and now half the cleats fall out on of the shoes every time I use it, and one cleat falls off the other shoe every time. I may have gotten a defective pair, but you shouldn't have to replace the cleats repeatedly - they are supposed to wear down, rather than fall off.

            Comments about 32 North STABILicers:

This winter has been very difficult in Maine for logging. I log with horses so am on my feet a lot. I had falled several times and was out for a week. Stablicers gave me the footing I needed. I have broken a strap and will be replacing missing studs but all and all I am very happy with the product. Thank you.

                Comments about 32 North STABILicers:

After my wife broke a ankle on a icy trail we decided to improve our safety. These definately provide that extra safety while walking anywhere on snowy/icy trails etc. Only prolem and I paid attention to sizing, is putting on the straps over the heel area, we have both experienced frustrating fitting of the heel strap barely getting over the heel of any boot. I might upgrade to a larger set while my wife will take over my size above hers. Otherwise they're great!!!

The Stabilicer is more of a heavy duty traction item. More durable and longer lasting in my opinion. I don't know why we're not selling the sport model.
