The first shipment I received the DVD package had been opened and the disk was defective. Campmor replaced the defective DVD with a new DVD which was also defective - I believe that you should check all of your stock - It plays OK for about 5 minutes and then starts hanging up. I am a Camping Merit Badge for the Boy Scouts and wanted to use this video in my classes.

I must admit, this isn't exactly hot off the press and it's not HD quality, but the content and information that is shared is still valid. While I laughed at the notion that I should keep a quarter in my kit in case I need to use a pay phone, the majority of the content is useful and I even picked up a couple of ideas; even an experienced person can learn something from this video, even if it's just a different way to do the same thing.

I received this dvd as a Christmas gift. It was great. Very informative. Fun to watch with my family. We've watched it a few times and learn more each viewing. Highly recommended. So much interesting information. Wilderness Bob is engaging and an excellent narrator. His cast of characters were fascinating as well. Don't miss it.

This dvd was copied over from VHS and a really bad job was done. The last 10 minutes were jumpy to the point that is is unwatchable. Not that there was anything worth learning in this dvd. I have seen better quality stuff interms of production and information on youtube. It is a real waste of money. I usually try and find something nice to say, but really I can think of one good think about this dvd.
