This Belay/rappel device is light, strong, easy to use, feeds smoothly, and dissipates heat well. The deep v-groves allow for higher friction when catching heavy falls, and the thick walls and smoth curves make it friendly to the rope. It will not lock up or kink rope. Works with 8.1 mm to 11 mm ropes. Wt. 3.1 oz.
