The Maxim Pinnacle was designed as an all around excellent rope with an emphasis on light weight and durability. the slim size keeps the weight to a minimum while the TPT "twill" sheath makes the rope slide through belay devices and over rough rock like a dream. The rope is made using maxim's 2-x-dry treatment. The water-resistant coatings are applied to the core yarns, and then the sheath is woven over them. The whole rope is then retreated and cured to make this a very durable water-resistant treatment that will not wear off like others. Diameter: 9.6mm Sheath slippage: 0mm Dynamic elongation: 26%.
