Comments about ABO Gear ABO Tripod 12 ft. x 12 ft. x 12 ft. Shelter: I use it on the beach for 2 weeks every year. The fiberglass poles will break at the metal sleeve if there is any wind at all. I take an extra set of poles to make repairs. Usually one pole breaks every 3rd day! Pros

Shelter: this product served us well on the beach the first day, in a light breeze. on day two, one of the rods shattered near the top of the structure. again the air was light, and this should not have happened. we duct-taped the split section and continued to use the shelter through the rest of the week, during which the wind picked up considerably. no more problems. i feel the one section that split must have had a defect. i am sorry that we are stuck with a damaged shelter. perhaps a replacement of one rod? The poles snapped and tore through the sleeves, so even if you replace the poles with better quality poles, the sleeves are still damaged. Pros

Even with three well-worn campers, we were barely able to put it up. It's like the manufacturer made the fabric too small and we could barely get the poles in the pockets. Shelter: We took this item to the Tortugas Festival in Yosemite and I am so happy we set the tent up prior to our arrival because one of one of the tri-sections that is attached to a spoke towards the ground BROKE with the tension. It was really a poor manufactured stitching job. I was able to fix and strengthen all three flies easy enough. Pros Cons

Any item purchased from Campmor can be returned for exchange or refund within 1 year of purchase.
