The Eureka Copper Canyon 4 is a roomy, Cabin style, straight walled family tent that will sleep a family of 4 easily. One large 'D' Style door simplifies exit or entry. 4 large windows and a generous roof vent allow for excellent ventilation. The hybrid steel/fiberglass frame is sturdy and reliable. Factory sealed floor and fly seams mean you will stay dry and comfortable in summer storms. The coated polyester fabrics are durable and long lasting. Set up is a breeze with shockcorded poles that attach with a combination of clips and sleeves and that makes set up faster and easier.

  You can set it up on a wooden deck and you do not have to tie or stake out. That said it would be saggy and prone to blowing off the platform. I have a platform for a tent similar to the Copper Canyon and I screwed in some eye bolts to the outside of the platform outside the stake out point and then use bungee cords to secure the tent taught to the platform.
