The North Face Rock 32 is a 3 person tent that features 2 doors, 2 vestibules and lots of mesh for great ventilation or stargazing. The all clip design and color coded poles is easy and fast to set up or take down. The bathtub floor seams rise up off the ground to keep water out. With its full coverage fly the Rock 32 is a great tent to weather any storm. The shockcorded aluminum frame is sturdy and durable. This is a great beginners tent and is so good that old timers trying to keep it simple will love this tent too.

Q:
How many inches long are the clips? In other words, how much air space is between the tent poles and the fly that will lay over them? Ventilation is important, and so is the fact that a hard rain and wind will not blow the fly against the mesh and cause contact to create leaks.

Q:
I bought the 2010 Rock 32 on closeout and when it arrived the fly already had a lot of stress points where it had been creased. Is this normal and will it affect the fly's water resistance or durability?

  It should not affect the water resistance of the fly. If there is a failure for the fly to retain water resistance withint he first year , then it can be returned to Campmor for a refund or exchange.
