- AERGOMED Grip: has the same features as the Aergon Grip (air + ergonomics) plus it provides a large, comfortable support for the palm for maximum load bearing. It is one of the latest pole innovations offered by Leki. The revolutionary, edgeless outer shape can either be palmed or held traditionally, for a variety of gripping options. A rubberized and dimpled top provides a comfortable, textured grip and a large support area on top of the grip for a secure hold. Includes integrated security wrist strap. Developed in cooperation with professional mountain guides.
- Super Lock System (SLS): the strongest pole locking system available as tested and certified by TUV (International Compliance Management); secure adjustment hold with the least amount of torque (hand strength required) offers secure, reliable support; up to 6x more secure than other locking systems.
- Carbide Flextips: concave, cylindrical tips offer secure hold on all terrain and surfaces; Carbide is extremely hard and durable; entire tip ferrule (Flextip) is replaceable.
- Rubber Tip Attachment: easily attaches / removes from carbide Flextip; meant for use indoors or on pavement only. Remove tip to expose carbide tip for use on trails.
- Interchangeable Basket System: baskets easily thread on and off; different size basket options allow poles to be customized for all seasons, all activities (trekking, snowshoe, backcountry touring, etc.
- Baskets are optional and are NOT included.

Comments about LEKI Super Micro: The first Leki like this I bought years ago, to aid in traversing glaze ice on parking lots, steps, etc. It server those functions perfectly, and so I passed it along to a friend who had only been able to find "drugstore" canes, but uses one daily. For almost a year, she carried nothing else, but, alas, Leki #1 went missing. I was lucky enough to locate the current incarnation at Campmore. Thanks, folks !

Comments about LEKI Super Micro: After having back surgery I needed a quality cane that fit my height. I had a Leki which I loved but inadvertently left it in a store and when I called it had not been turned in. So began my search for a replacement. When I saw this one I realized it was the newer model of the cane I had lost and decided to give it a try. Not only is it as good as the one I previously owned, it's better. Since I must use it most of the time I needed something that was comfortable for my hand and it more than fits the bill. Very comfortable, it's easy to collapse to take on planes or in the car, and easy to reopen. I would recommend this to anyone. I will continue to use it for hiking once I'm able to do that.

The best way to determine fit is to hold your arm at the natural angle you will be using this staff at and measure from the hand to the ground. Whatever this measurement is will be the size you would need a staffs range to work within.Answered on 1/24/2013 by Steve from Campmor
