The Coleman Sundome 6, 10'x10', dome tent is part of the classic Sundome series of tents from Coleman. The Sundome 6 sleeps 6 happy campers and includes a large door for easy entry/exit with a hooded fly to provide ventilation even in rain. A large rear hooded window also provides airflow for cross ventilation. Mesh vents on the roof provide additional ventilation and the rugged 1000D polyethylene floor is a bathtub style (wraps up the sides) for extreme weather protection and has welded seams, even in the corners, to guard against a leaky floor. The coated polyester fabrics on the fly and walls are rugged and durable. Like all Coleman Sundome tents it is easy to set up or take down and features an Electrical Access Port, a ground vent and an interior mesh storage pocket.

  I believe you are referring to the 1 zippered Electrical Access Port to run AC power into the tent. This is a port for an extension cord. So you can plug an extension cord into an AC outlet and direct the cord into the tent so you can use an AC appliance in the tent.

I was in a high wind rain storm and the tent was dry: however ; The next morning I discovered that 2 of the fiberglass supports, split in half. I was able to duck tape them and used the tent for the rest of the trip. What is the part # for the individual sections, I need two, thanks

  This is not a 4 season tent. It is waterproof, however in terms of its coatings, it is at the low end of protection from water. Other brands of tents have higher grades of coatings to provide more significant protection from storms.

what does the number - 68D - on the tafeta flysheet mean and the inside wall????? Costco says it is 75D, is this the same tent?

  A #+D is referencing the thickness of the thread aka denier. So 68D is a thinner thread than a 75D. Thus a fabric made with a thinner thread will be lighter and less durable than a thread that has a higher # denier thread.

  1. The window is directly opposite to the door. Both the window in the back wall and the door window can be sealed off with a zipper storm flap. The side vented wall can not be sealed.

Do the side (mosquito net) panels have zip-up covers?

Does the door have a storm flap over the bottom part of the zipper?
