This tent is an improved model that I expect my grandchildren will spend many night in during their adventures.

Holds up well to wind and rain with external loops to secure the fly with additional lines. Heavy duty construction without heavy weight.

Comments about Eureka Timberline SQ Outfitter 6 - Tent: I've been using the Timberline 6 tent for many years now with groups of students that travel out west. We currently own 7 of these. I'm not overly crazy about the design of the new fly, there's "extensions" that cover part of the doors, but I've found wind tends to catch there and keeping it down tends to be a slight problem. Overall though, we're extremely happy with the tent and it's never let us down in the most challenging of conditions.

Best Uses Comments about Eureka Timberline SQ Outfitter 6 - Tent: I've used this tent for over 10 years. it's used as a basecamp for mountain biking,skiing and hunting.The tent has held up in extreme weather with the use of the guylines, 50-70 mph winds, torrential rain, and 12" of snow. It's a heavy tent, but the floor takes a lot of abuse and has had no issues.

Comments about Eureka Timberline SQ Outfitter 6 - Tent: We just received this tent from "Santa" for Christmas, and it's been set up in our basement ever since. We have three young boys, and this tent is going to be a great family tent. It's super easy to set up, very similar to my older Timberline tent. Due to the size, it's weight and footprint don't make it conducive to true backpacking, but great for backyard camping, car camping and shorter walks into the woods. This is a very spacious tent, I'm 6' tall and can easily stand up in this tent. Although we haven't used it outdoors yet, I am confident that the quality of the tent will hold true to previous product experiences I've had with Eureka products.
