The Eureka Apex 3 XT is a roomy 3 person tent with 2 doors, 2 vestibules and great ventilation. The sturdy shockcorded fiberglass frame is durable and packs down to a manageable size. Both doors and the back wall of the tent are no-see-um mesh for great ventilation and stargazing opportunities. Two vestibules provide cover for excess gear and allow for great venting in the rain by shielding the mesh on the doors. An additional poke out wall vent provides even more ventilation options. The full coverage, factory sealed fly all but guarantees a snug night and a great trip.

Q:
This and the Apex 2XT 2011 both appear orange in photos but the color choice pull down offers only Gold. I had understood that gold was the 2010 color and 2011 models had changed to orange. Wanted to confirm I would indeed be getting the 2 011 model if ordered in gold as there are improvements to the new model. Orange could look gold in some lights but in the photos the tent looks pumpkin orange!

  The door and the vent in the roof do not have closures. You would not be able to close the vent and door off to marginally increase the temperature inside the tent.
