Make sure you get the adjustable version not the fixed length which is very limiting. Also make sure you order a pair (two). They are sold as individual or each. Should be more notice about this.

These replaced smaller diameter non-adjustable poles from Kelty. One of the smaller poles bent and collapsed in a wind storm. These poles look like they'll hold up. I would suggest storing them in the full open position so the bungies holding them together have the least stretch applied - the shock cord will hold up longer.

liked them so much i returned the non-adjustable ones and paid the extra $$ for these. am concerned about the rust on the tip already - only been a little over a month, but i use them almost everyday and i live on the bay.

These poles are great!

I set up a tarp in my backyard using only these poles. The first night, there was a thunderstorm. These poles survived the initial 45+ mph wind gust. The only thing that happened was that they fell down. No bends or breaks like cheaper poles.

We are using these to replace the poles that came with a Moss Wing. They are better than the original poles.
