The Sierra Designs Zia 3 sleeps 3 people. It features 2 doors for easy entry or exit and 2 vestibules for storing excess or wet gear. The Zia 3 includes a FREE fitted footprint to protect your tent floor and a FREE mesh GEAR LOFT for overhead storage and organization. The mesh roof is great for ventilation and stargazing should the weather be so kind. And if the weather is not cooperating the Zia 3 features a full coverage fly that will let you ride out the worst rain high and dry. The shockcorded aluminum frame has a hub to ease and speed set up. And of course the SuperSeal floor wraps up the sides, bathtub style, to keep you happy and dry. Add the FREE stuff to an already great tent and you have one super deal.

Then, first night out we had a pouring rain in Yosemite National Park. However, the three of us stayed comfy and dry. My wife even complimented the fact that "we now have good gear!" Definitely a good buy, especially for the prettty reasonable price.

I fit but was extremely tight. would be a great tent otherwise. setting up after dark is a pain.. Overall, good design, anxious to see what it does in the rain.

I talked to a friend that is an avid adventurer and he recommended Sierra Designs. I was NOT dissapointed. My son went to Klondike (snow camp) with the scouts last month. It poured the whole way into camp. He had to set the tent up in the rain and while camping on the snow. He stayed dry all night! By morning they had new snow and still had no problems with this tent. My son got several comments of approval on his tent by the leaders.

I've had it for almost 15 years and used it in pretty adverse weather and it's still in great shape. I just wanted something with a little more room. The Zia 3 has plenty of room inside and lots of vestibule space. I only gave it 4 stars because i haven't used it in the rain but if it keeps me as dry as my last Sierra Design did i would give it 5 stars no question.

Very easy to set up and take down. Because the stakes are small and short, and there's only six of them, I wouldn't trust it in 40 mph+ wind. Good quality material.
