The Kelty Salida 4 is a light 4 person side entry backpacking tent. It has a front vestibule for gear storage (11 sq ft) and lots of mesh for great ventilation. An easy all clip set up is fast and reliable. Standard features include aluminum poles, for rugged durability and light weight, factory taped seams for out of the box worry free weather protection and a full coverage non-stretch, UV resistant polyester fly. With the large no-see-um mesh panels you can not only get great ventilation but on appropriate nights you can stargaze until you drift off to sleep.

  The Kelty Salida 4 -4 Person Tent comes with a basic 6" long aluminum stake. The Kelty No-bendum would be an up grade as well as the MSR.

This looks very simialr to the Kelty Zodiac 4 that Target sells. The only difference looks to be the rain fly. Am I right?

  I have the Salida 2 and notced the same thing with the Zodiac 2 at Target. The main difference is the weight of the Salida is significantly less than the Zodiac due to higher quality poles and fabric. The design seems to be nearly identical.

  The difference between a Salida 4 and a Zodiac 4 is that the Zodiac 4 uses fiberglass poles and has the screen room on the front of the tent, while the Salida uses aluminum poles and has a vestibule but not a screened room. Floor dimensions are pretty similar.
