The Marmot Halo 6 sleeps 6 happy campers. The Halo pole actually pulls all the walls out and gives a tremendous increase in usable space. The full coverage ripstop nylon fly provides complete weather protection and includes two large (32 sq. ft.) vestibules for storing extra gear. The rear door adds convenience for entry/exit. With venting on all sides and the all mesh roof the Halo is comfortable and great for stargazing when the opportunity arises.

Is this a three season tent?

I was wondering how effective the tent is at keeping out drafts and wind with the rain fly and the mesh/screen top of the tent.

Also, with the rain fly, is there enough ventilation on a hot summer night without taking off the rain fly?

  The mesh panels in the Marmot Halo 6P - 6 Person Tent can not be closed. Because the panels can not be closed breezes will move through the tent. This will help keep condensation down. If you short sheet the vestibule so that it is open then the ventilation on a hot summer day will be very good.

  It is a taller tent so that makes more of a target for wind stress. You can add some guy lines and this tent will handle wind very well. A good dome shape is meant for the wind.
