The Scenic Pass 2 tent from Eureka sleeps 2 and is a very light and versatile backpacking tent. It has 2 doors and very good ventilation and of course each window in the doors is closable. The 2 bat wing demi vestibules cover the door and allow ventilation even in rain. The half vest keeps the tent weight down below 5 lbs. The rugged wrap up the sides bathtub floor is durable and will keep you dry in the worst weather. The shockcorded DAC aluminum frame is strong and light weight. The freestanding all clip design is a cinch to set up. As an added bonus additional roof vents aid in ventilation and the tent even comes with a gear loft just to make it even better.

Comments about Eureka Scenic Pass 2 Tent: I got this eureka one season ago. I do all types of camping with it, from backpack to carcamp. Well made rugged. Wee bit heavy for long range carry. I got mine from campmor and once again VERY happy. For what i paid its alot o tent. I think this model is best forwarm weather camp. My buddys freaked out when they saw how fast it goes up. LOVE it and GREAT price!

Comments about Eureka Scenic Pass 2 Tent: I use this tent with springtime excursions for 6-8 days with groups in NH. We often camp on snow, with temps ranging from 17f to 70! We have never had a zipper or pole break, and HS kids are able to set the tent up independently after 1 brief lesson. The tent is not exceptionally anything- but represents good value and ease of use.

It's light weight and easy set-up is very convenient when you have to tear down and set up camp every day and have a weight limit for flights. I would reccomend this tent to any wildland firefighter.

Comments about Eureka Scenic Pass 2 Tent: I like the size, weight and footprint of this tent. It is easy to set up and very reasonably priced. On a recent excursion the rains POURED ALL NIGHT long and the tent leaked around the door zipper near my feet- resulting in pretty wet lower bag.

The vestibule is considered a demi vestibule so it only covers half the opening. It gives some coverage and still allows good ventilation.Answered on 2/20/2012 by Betty
