the bottom of this tent is mesh and basically the cold air filters in and you freeze...its a good summer tent for that reason , but evrything else is closed in...no mesh windows make this tent a sleeper....

Very roomy and weather proof. First use was a backpacking trip where it rained heavily all night. Stayed dry and the tent performed flawlessly in high gusts. The only complaints are that the fly lets water drip right in the tent when entering or exiting and the way the fly sits on the poles it causes slack on the two side walls. Very roomy for four even for a long rainy night.

Fly and tent body are well made. Space is great for four, with enough room for people 6'5" and under. Pole design is the weak link on this setup. Fast and easy to pitch yes, but BA saved some money by down grading the materials used. Overall it's a nice tent. Just plan on the poles and attachment clips breaking before the tent / fly body start showing signs of use. Best used for car camping.

I am a cubmaster and have had this tent for 2 years and camped with it about 20 nights so far in 4 seasons. Big Agnes is a company with well thought out designs and quality (check out their air mattress for one of the best sleeps you will ever get!). The lines, for instance, are reflective and easy to see with a flashlight. There are also vents on the side of the fly to let in air. When the fly is fully set up, there is ample room for gear outside (although I keep it in my tent with my 1-3 boys). Sleeping alone the tent is big enough for a full size cot. The green color is great, disappearing into the woods following "front country leave no trace guidelines". The really interesting thing about the tent is that the interior mesh zippered fly is mostly covered with fabric. It takes away the views but then again gives great privacy when you leave the rain fly open, people can't see you changing. I thought its design would make it hot in the summer but that has not been the case. Great tent.

I am using this for an Elk Trip coming up for spike camp with a partner, intending on hiking in 4-5 miles. If you are going with two people divide it up and take half each. It is easy to set up hiked five miles with it, it kept us about 10 or more degrees warmer than the outside. It was 18 degrees outside, kept vents closed and had no condensation. Very roomy separate entrances for both people great for 2 or three people too tight for four.

Difficult to unzip fly without the zipper catching on the fly material.

Overall the tent is well design, I am not happy with the fly, there is no nice half way fix, it's either completely open or completely closed. It would have been better if there was more space to put things under the outer tarp.
