However, the box states that is 26" long and the tape measure agrees. It is a nice little tent for a great price, but the pack length is a whopping 8" longer than advertised.

A bit on the heavy side, but that's the price you pay for a 3-person tent. And it has ample room for two people and their gear and will easily accomodate three people.

But why is the storm flap over the zipper so cheapo that it has to hang in the doggone thing every time? C'mon engineers. Come up with something! Use heavier material for the flap. It's useable, but you have to be too careful with it.

Comments about Giga Tents Gigatent Redleg 3 Camo Dome Tent: I used this for backpacking and it worked well. It is a bit heavy but can't complain because it is justified with being a 3 person tent. We slept 3 in it and all of us were comfortable. Gotta love the camo color!
