Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": Inflates easily, took me @ 24 - 25 breaths to fill it up. Great for rocky sites, you won't feel a bump no matter how you sleep. Much better insulation than the self-inflating type mat. Used this in northern Arizona during a snow - stayed warm and toasty. Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": This is my 2nd one and now my son is using it. I would recommend this as a quality product. Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": small, light, plush.... first 5 nights were unbelievably better than my 8 year old thermarest. Haven't tested in freezing & under temps - has a great price to boot Pros

Best Uses Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": The ground has gotten harder over the years, and my 1.5" Thermarest Explorer wasn't cutting it for side sleeping. The Big Agnes Insulated Air Core is lighter, MUCH more compact, and I can finally sleep on my side without getting achy hips. Slept on it with a 40 degree bag at temps of 28 deg F and stayed plenty warm, so the insulation appears adequate. It's a little slick, and I did slide off it when sleeping indoors in a kids museum, but stayed in place fine in a one man tent on semi-level ground. Takes me 20 slow, full breaths to inflate, so it's not a quick setup, but definitely worth every puff. In all I'm very pleased. Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": took a bit of effort to blow up. [...] Pros

Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": I used to own an original Therm-a-rest and really loved the difference in the size and weight when packed. I was able to keep it in the backpack instead of putting on the outside of the pack. The only complaint, if you can consider it a complaint is the inflation. It does take a few minutes to inflate unlike the old therm-a-rest but still not a bad problem. Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": I have used my big agnes a number of times on weekend kayak trips. It is easy to pump up and does a great job of insulating from the ground and cushioning. I am happy to have it! Pros

Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": Good quality overall. Works for what I needed, a lightweight, compact, warm, bike camping pad. It's not the easiest to inflate, but not bad. Overall, I recommend this product. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": I tried it out one night on loose rock and it cushioned me (190 lbs) completely. Didn't feel any of the rocks. It took 13 breaths to inflate. I'm taking it to Aconcagua soon. Will have better information after that trip. Pros

Comments about Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Mummy Pad - Regular 72"" x 20"": I was a "self-inflating product" for several years. For me, as a backpacker, Big Agnes was lighter, took up less space in my pack, and is insulatedso moisture from your breath is not an issue. Used last weekend on the AT in CT and it was a chilly night. I was warm and cozy with Big Agnes. Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » |
