The Alpha 3 is a 3 person 3-4 season convertible tent that allows you to minimize weight in the 3 season mode by leaving pole sections and the breathable door panel at home, a weight savings of over a half pound. An end entry tent with a large vestibule, a rear door and generous roof venting that makes a great tent for all seasons. It has a full coverage fly which protects against rain or snow. Sierra Designs has incorporated many environmentally friendly features such as a dye free tent canopy, the DAC NSL poles use the less toxins in manufacturing than other poles and a PVC free tape to seal the seams.- Sleeps 3

- DAC Featherlite NSL Aluminum poles are light without compromising strength. NSL poles have a unique connector between the pole sections, which minimizes breakage, saves weight, works more smoothly and has the highest strength to weight ratio of any tent pole.
