The Sierra Designs Convert 2 is a winter tent designed for extremes. It is very light, easy to set up and has plenty of room for 2. The DriZone™ fabric not only "breathes" but is waterproof and saves weight so you can go faster, farther, easier. Each inner corner of the tent has an optional Jake's Corner. This device comes with the tent and attaches or detaches easily and provides phenomenal tent stability when in use as needed. A small vented fly at the top of the tent lets even more pass through the tent and allows for a more comfortable interior. Set up is simple and can be finished from inside the tent if the weather is too harsh.- Sleeps 2.
- Main fly and floor seams are factory taped (PVC Free) for extreme weather protection.
- Super Seal Floor Seam combines a Catenary cut with a bathtub floor that raises the seam off the ground for extreme protection.
- DriZone™ material is waterproof, light weight but breathes and is the most comfortable waterproof/breathable tent fabric on the market.
- Single wall tent design, saves weight, and is well ventilated for less condensation.
- Front storage vestibule is 8.5 sq. ft. is hooped for strength and is also removable to save weight.
- Includes 4 Jakes's Corners which are removable. They help stabilize the tent from high winds and snow loads.
- DAC FeatherLite NSL Aluminum poles utilize a unique pole connector and have the best strength to weight ratio of any pole.
- Reflective Door Binding helps you see the tent in low light levels or times of low visibility.
- Freestanding design is sturdy and stable.
- External Guypoints feature the Nite Ize® Figure 9™ line tighteners which are reliable and simple to use.
- Poles are fed into sleeves both inside and outside the tent - finishing the set up can be done from inside the tent which is especially useful in bad weather.
- Gear pockets for internal storage.
- Poles attach to tent body via locking pole tips and grommets for fast and easy set up.
- #8 noiseless zipper pulls.
- Color coded fly attachment also ease set up.
- Non wicking stake loops and fly attachments.
- Two clear UV resistant non yellowing clear window in front vestibule are stitchless (sonically sealed) for no leaking seams and is lighter also.
- Post and grommet assembly with extra long (counters ice build up) locking pole tips.
- Side release buckles attach fly to body for fast easy set up.
- The tent canopy is made from a dye free (greener) Optic White material for a brighter interior.
- Tent materials are treated DM-50 to resist mold and mildew.
