Best Uses Comments about Texsport Stainless Steel Coffee Percolator: Bought as a replacement for ceramic coated steel boiler for daily use. The lid will fall into the pot unless the perc basket lid is in place. The tiny internal rim of the lid is so small that the chance of spillage from under lid is huge. The perforations in the spout are so few that the spillage is likely. Pouring speed would be extremely slow. I'm not interested in delicately pouring "forever" to fill a half liter mug. Did not bother to try it, the flaws were so obvious that it was immediately returned for refund. The price attracted me, but I have always been wary of the Texport brand. My suspicions are confirmed. I finally broke the glass dome on my old percolator after about 15yrs, and decided it was time to get a new one. Retail stores don't have a very good selection. Pros
