Comments about Campmor's Snow and Sand Deadman Anchors: Worked well on granite in Northern Ontario. Made setup of my tent much quicker. I just setup, found some loose rocks, wrapped them with the anchors and clipped them to my tent. Withstood sustained 20 mph winds.

Comments about Campmor's Snow and Sand Deadman Anchors: I used the sand anchors at the beach and they worked well. The most wind during our stay was maybe 40 mph, so perhaps, that wasn't the best test. I had a one man tent and used 4 anchors which seemed adequate.

The winds were constant and strong, but the anchors held well buried about 2 feet in the sand. We had bought some from another outdoor store, but they had plastic rings on them that broke under the stress of that brutal wind.
