The Light Wedge 3 is a freestanding 3 person tent with lots of mesh for great ventilation. Its simple but roomy 2.5 pole design uses clips for a fast and easy set up every time. The attached front vestibule provides shelter (11.8 sq. ft.) for extra gear and protects the door from the harshest weather. The Atlas aluminum pole system is innovative, strong and reliable and will provide years of service. Sleeps 3 Floor seams are factory sealed for waterproofness. The full coverage polyester rain fly resists stretching when wet and has all seams factory taped. Atlas 7001 Anodized Aluminum poles use a floating cold forged connector which is stronger, lighter, more reliable and completely field maintainable. Freestanding Two pole design uses pole clips for easy set-up and to increase ventilation between rain fly and tent body. Large No-See-Um door, side panels and rear window for excellent ventilation and stargazing. The Tension Shelf 'tensions' the vestibule brow pole, giving additional strength to support the canopy and vestibule while also dramatically increasing the load bearing capability of the tent. Also, by adding fabric to the inside it gives you the bonus of a shelf. The brow pole increases vestibule volume by extending the vestibule outward for 11.8 sq. ft. of storage space. The rain fly has a UVX window (which won't yellow or cloud) to let light in and allows views outside. Pitchlight weight of 4 lbs 9 oz. - Use optional nylon footprint for an ultralight shelter using the poles, fly and footprint, leave the tent body home to save weight. Zippers are bias bound for smooth operation and are sewn in with the teeth on the inside for better weather protection, ease of use and long life. The floor-to-side wall perimeter seam is sewn in so it remains off the floor and forms a waterproof tub. Tent bag, pole bag, stake bag, aluminum stakes, and owners manual included. Catenary-cut seams create taut canopy and improve fly strength. Double-needle lap-fell seams on canopy and fly increase strength and shed water. Locking pole tips for easy set-up. Gated Power Clips at pole intersections. #8 YKK zippers with nickel-plated sliders and pull-tabs for durability and noise reduction. Water-resistant, inverted fly zippers with storm flaps.
