Comments about Marmot PreCip Jacket - Men's: The jacket was as advertised and will be perfect for my needs. I am 5'8" and regular build and purchased a medium at first. It was too tight through the back but a large fits well although the sleeves are a bit long.

Comments about Marmot PreCip Jacket - Men's: I have owned one of these jackets for a number of years and have loved it, but it is getting worn so I decided to buy a replacement. I ordered a medium since that was the size of my old one. Upon arrival I was surprised to find that the new one felt smaller and when overlaid on one another, the new one was about an inch smaller. It's big enough but could be tight with a lot of layers on inside it.

Comments about Marmot PreCip Jacket - Men's: The Marmot Precip is lightweight but not Expedition Grade. It should be fine for packing but a little lightweight for a bulletproof winter ski shell. I'm still looking for a good simple bulletproof anorak/shell. That said it hangs ready to go out in the rain. And I can use it backpacking, in a pinch it will serve as a winter shell with layers underneath. Sizing is great.

Comments about Marmot PreCip Jacket - Men's: This was a replacement for my son's PreCip jacket that I borrowed and lost. We have three PreCip jackets in our family, one for each of us. I am a natural resources professional and my jacket lives in my pack. It packs down small and works equally well as a rain jacket, windbreaker, or outer layer. I do have to re-treat the DWR treatment about once a year. The jacket is waterproof, breathable, lightweight, and reasonably priced. What's not to like?
