If you have a teenager who doesn't rinse the tomato sauce from dishes before she puts them in the dishwasher, these will pick up the color (but not the flavor). The size is absolutely perfect. It is plain looking, i.e. does not grab everyone's attention unnecessarily. I can drink easily from it, even when teaching.
