The snap case broke upon first opening. The button snap is so secure that it does not unsnap but the material rips away. Kids get upset over broken items. Not worth it.

Have not had a chance to use it yet, but it's intended to be used for beach combing in Maine, coupled with the use of a metal detector.

I wouldn't consider this a gardening tool though it could certainly be used for that. I bought it for camping. Its reasonably well made and certainly sufficient for shallow latrines or ditching around a tent. Not for backpacking, however, at least in my opinion. Weight is prohibitive for lightweight packing. Worth the money.

Very handy tool at the campsite, used it for digging and snow removal. Wonderful tool for the money and weight. Only compliant is the rubber grip
came loose and needs to be glued. It does have it's limits as the shovel blade bent when attempting to pry a rock out of the ground, which is not a good use for this tool.

This shovel is very well made and priced. Due to this shovel's mini size, I can only recommend it for very small jobs.

When motorcycle camping, space is at a premium... this is a great tool when both space and function are important.

A must tool for tent camping. Used for trenching around your tent to divert dew and rain away. Pic also good for removing tent stakes.
