Comments about Greenfield Products Sand Hog 12 in. Heavy Steel Tent Stake: I purchased 4 of these years ago from Campmor. We tent camp @ Assateague State Park in MD. These tent stakes are very strong and will not pull out of the ground ............. mine have been tested for many years and have endured several pounding thunderstorms at Assateague. Their design is such that they have a high profile/wide head that, once driven beneath the sand, will not pull out during windy conditions. I own 6 of them and am ordering 4 more for the 4 corners of a sun shelter that we also use at the shore. These would most likely be very annoying and difficult to pound into rocky or shale soil.

Comments about Greenfield Products Sand Hog 12 in. Heavy Steel Tent Stake: We use these stakes at the beach to secure a 12x12 canopy. I've never had one pull out of the sand. They are a simple, solid construction and easy to use.

Comments about Greenfield Products Sand Hog 12 in. Heavy Steel Tent Stake: The tent stakes are stronger than most tents. We were in a thunder shower with a wind and they held great. Definitely would recommend these to anyone camping on the Outer Banks of NC. and any beach or dune.

Comments about Greenfield Products Sand Hog 12 in. Heavy Steel Tent Stake: I have used these stakes for years in the loose sandy soil @ Hither Hills in Montauk. They have held down tents and screen houses in very windy conditions. If you are beach camping these are the only stakes to have.
