Comments about Texsport Portable Commode: Bought this for use in an out of town house we're renovating. It broke while putting it together...Still works, but it ain't the best quality. For the price, it'll do. Not for big people, drunk people or the uncoordinated...Use carefully...3 stars

Comments about Texsport Portable Commode: This commode fits the bill for remote car camping. I can't see taking it backpacking, but for when you need a quiet moment with the sports page, this one is it! just don't over lean, or the seat may snap off it's legs and send you flailing for something to grab :-)

Best Uses Comments about Texsport Portable Commode: The item came in with slight damage - part of the plastic support for the legs had broken off. Not enough to affect things but the plastic supports don't hold onto the steel legs all that firmly anyway.

Comments about Texsport Portable Commode: Great buy for the price. I used it on a Canadian canoe trip because I was tired of sitting on a log. You have to be careful if you are heavy as it will sink on the feet and cause you to fall over. It did pop out of the clips once in a while but I fixed this everyday with duct tape and then took it off to pack it. Flatten cans and take 4 with you to make it stable under the feet. It is a good all around potty, but if someone has the runs they might splatter the legs. A little bulky for backpacks but good for canoe trips.
