Had to return these shoes, Hi-Tec discontinued the V-Lite Trail Eruption and while I thought these would be a satisfactory substitute for them, they are not even close. Arch support is lacking, fit is poor, not the shoe I was expecting. Might suit someone who doesn't walk a lot or run, but I could not even stand in them without discomfort.

Nice attractive comfortable trail running shoe, I intend to use to keep dry feet on long europe travel. Waterproof upper works well. To test out shoe I poured glass after glass of water and they were dry. However when I submerged (below opening for foot of course)for prolonged time the seams between the upper and sole did eventually allow water in,though minimal ammounts. The waterproof upper is a little noisy, like walking on plastic bags.

I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THESE SHOES. WAS A LITTLE HESITANT ABOUT PAYING THIS PRICE FOR THEM, BUT HAVE FOUND THEM WORTH IT.

Bought it for a smooth trail run, completely unsuited for any tough use so walking at the mall. They have cool reflective surfaces. They look nice.

Con: Speed laces do not work, shoe cannot be tight enough to give a tight secure feel.

Definitely worth the price.I was initially concerned about this smaller company but their website inspired me to take a chance on the purchase.The company really put a lot of time and effort into creating a sneaker that performs really well is all areas. I use it mostly for walking and light jogging.
