The plastic backing would not pull off in one piece so that I was having to try and rub off all the little bits of paper, which proved impossible, and since it was half way stuck to the cushion while I was fingernailing the bits of white backing, it got stuck to itself, and...the rest is history. Trashed it after thoroughly enjoying squeezing it into a ball.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Kenyon Klear Repair Tape: The product may work on other materials, but I needed it to repair a tear in my lite weight nylon pants. The tear continued to worsen and I eventually threw the pants out.

Comments about Kenyon Klear Repair Tape: Purchased this to repair a long scuffed tear in my tent fly. Hard to describe the damage that this was used for. It was an area about 16" x 1" which apparently had been rubbed/scraped/scuffed and along that line were tiny spots that were torn, yet the entire length was not actually a tear. Anyway, I was skeptical about this product, even though it was clear and no color match was needed. I thought it might be too stiff if it wasn't a type of nylon. I was very pleased when it arrived. Very soft and easy to work with. Easily cut to fit. It comes as a strip about 18 in long, and I cut that down the middle to fit the size of the scuff and applied it to the inside of the fly. Well, it was a little difficult to peel off the backing, but the tape seems to adhere well and it does not detract from the surface of the fly in any way. I just repaired it a few days prior to writing this, so I can't say how well it will perform long term but it appears to be just what I needed to repair the damage to my tent fly.

Comments about Kenyon Klear Repair Tape: Used the Kenyon repair tape to repair splitting fabric in the tent pole loops of my older Eureka tent. This tape is made from the same taffeta material as the tent. Very sticky, adhears where you put it, so be exact in placement after pulling back the protective tape. I rounded the corners of the patch with sissors as directed.
