Works great on our 2002 Nissan Xterra. Sometimes it's nice to load some gear up, drive to the mountains to an out-of-the-way place, and just sleep in the back. We have plenty of extra tent room when using it with our Xterra. Keeps out bugs and water, which is all I expect it to keep out, with no problems. Those who complain about it not fitting well seem to have really high tailgates when raised. Easy set-up for those who like to go camping on a whim without lots of gear and who want to get off the ground with the experince of nature for a night.

Ventilation is good, but it can get stuffy if you're camping in July or August. We just crack the backseat windows. If you're on the fence about it like I was, just go for it and you'll be glad you did.

This suv tent is good for air circulation in the vehicle and that's about it. It is too small for the newer Honda Pilots, will not fit under bottom bumper. After adding some tie straps to the bottom of the tent I was able to secure tight enough to keep out the bugs. I almost returned the tent but after adding modification decided to keep it.

This tent will not fit a newer model Honda Pilot. It is too small to fit under the lower bumper thus poor seal for bugs. If you put the lower section on first the lift door will not open all the way thus stretching the zippers too tight. This tent is a neat idea but a larger model for bigger SUV's would be better.

This is so easy to use and subsequently store! I wonder how I did so long without this van tent for so many years. My mother has bought one as well now, so we can go camping together.

A little tricky to set up, and the directions were not accurate for a 2010 Toyota Sienna. With the addition of some bungee cords and creative tucking, it should be serviceable although not quite insect-proof.

My husband and I use this on our Mazda 5 for quick camping getaways instead of having to struggle to setup a tent for just a couple of nights. We are so spoiled now. It only takes a couple of minutes to setup. Other campers look on with jealousy as we get to begin enjoying the great outdoors within minutes of arriving at camp. It is such as easy setup and take down process that having to put it up and down every time you leave camp is not a big deal it is still a big time and headache saver in the long run.

A lot of fun. Expands the flexibility of an already awesome mini-van, by making it a camper. Easy in and out and dry as a bone. No need even for seam sealer, as the seams are already well sealed. I used it in torrential downpour, not one drop go into the van.

Bought this for my VW Vanagon. It gives a huge screen area for excellent ventilation however, Vanagon's hatch height prevents using it for vehicle access via rear hatch (not a problem). Using it on the mini-van (intended design) it works fabulous, turning the rear cargo area into a mosquito-proof sleeping area.
