The MW81 winter bike shoe has a Gore-Tex exterior and a Thermal lining to provide warmth and comfort. A water resistant neoprene ankle bootie protect's and prevents debris from getting in your shoe. Off-set straps prevent pressure points and high visibility reflectors on rear and side allows you to be seen on the way to the trail or just commuting. Lightweight glass fiber reinforced polyamide sole, SPD cleat compatible. So forget about that "mountain bike shoe covers" that just wont stay on.

The Shimano MW81 Winter Bike Shoe would not be compatible with the road bike peddle you currently are using. A change of peddle would be required for this shoe.Answered on 10/22/2012 by Steve from Campmor
