Cons Best Uses Comments about Grangers XT Waterproofer Spray 9.23 fl. oz: Works well with some jackets but not all. Followed the instructions from the manufacturer's website. Worked well with my Marmot Minimalist but didn't work quite well with my Timberland System Design jacket. Both had their original DWR fading. My Timberland showed some beading but the beading stopped after 10 minutes in the rain. It didn't take long to achieve a complete wet out. On the Marmot jacket, the beading is close to the original DWR. I also applied it on my TNF Sure backpack and it showed pretty good water resistance with one application. I have to mention that I threw the jackets and the backpack in the dryer at medium heat for a good 20 or so minutes. Works well but I think I'm going to try [...]on my Timerland jacket. Can Grangers XT Waterproofer Spray be applied to a 100% polyester cycling jacket to make it waterproof?1 answer
A:
It would not make a polyester cycling jacket 100% waterproof. It would provide limited water repellency.
