In the past I have shyed away from machine washing my ski gear affraid it will ruin the waterproofing. I didnt want to wash my new pants without this product and I have washed them twice so far (muddy spring!) and they are still as good as new! Pros

Tech wash is a soap meant to clean technical clothing. While TX 10 direct is a water repellant that you would apply to a clean garment. The TX 10 direct wash in is that you soak in a wash then dry in the drier to activate the repellent.Answered on 10/23/2012 by Steve from Campmor
