      Best Uses

This product is very limited in its use. I was only able to use them on packed snow or a very thin layer of ice. Was not what I thought I was getting.

      I love these things!

      By Trail Runner

      from Phoenix, AZ

Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids:

I used these on the ice in November on the Bright Angel Trail in the Grand Canyon over La Sportiva trail runner shoes and they were great! There were many transitions between ice and dirt on the trail, and I didn't need to remove these on the dirt sections. The icy trail would have been treacherous without these.

The first and only time I wore them, one split in half, separating the heel part from the front part.

      Best Uses

I am very unsatisfied with these. Toe box is too small to easily apply to hiking boots. Not enough spikes.

      Not sturdy enough

      from hardy, va.

Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids:

used for gardening on a hillside.
they are lightweight, but just putting them on my shoes one time caused the rubber framework to begin to separate.
I don't think these will last too long.

      Great Multi-Sport Traction

      By Hiknhank

      from Tolland, MA

      Verified Buyer

      Pros

      • Great traction

      Cons

      • Could last longer

      Best Uses

      • Running and KungFu on ice

Comments about Surefoot Due North All Purpose Traction Aids:

I do Taiji and Kung Fu outside on the ice covered roads every morning. These studds make it possible!! They are also good for running, much better than the older kind, since these have more toe coverage they stay in place better. The biggest negative is that Kung Fu wears them out faster than running, as the sideways motion pulls the rubber and eventually tears it!

        I wear a Women'ssize 11M - seems like a 'boundary' size between M and L - is there any adjustment (width/length) within a size?

          A:

On boundary sizes consider the type of footwear that you will wear this ice walker with. A shoe you go with the smaller size for a boot the larger size. Boots being higher volume than shoes.
