Comments about Outdoor Research Crocodiles Gore-Tex Gaiters - Men's: I finally wore out my first pair after 10+ years of hard use. These things are great. Very easy on/off - that's one of the best parts. Sturdy. Useful all year long. I put these through some tough conditions in both the summer and winter. If I know I'm going in the field I seldom leave without these. They are nice in the winter to keep snow out and warmth in. No zippers so you don't have to worry about things freezing up. In the summer they aren't too warm and after a long day of bushwacking it's nice to have dry legs and boots and not have boots full of twigs and leaves. Don't leave home without them.

Comments about Outdoor Research Crocodiles Gore-Tex Gaiters - Men's: I purchased this gaiters after having done a fair bit of research and reading reviews. The only part I'm not happy with is the fit around the leg at the top closure. I have to fold it and use a rubber band to create a good fit and seal. I haven't used it in deep snow yet. Should I ever sink in to my knees the gaiters would fill up with snow if not using the rubber band. My shoe size is 9 and thought to take size L (8-11). I don't know whether size M would have fit better on top closure. I'm happy with the fit otherwise.

Comments about Outdoor Research Crocodiles Gore-Tex Gaiters - Men's: These gaiters are top notch. My only complaint is that the toe hook is on the outer side of the flap. Years ago they had the hook on the inner flap, you would hook over your shoe string etc., then wrap the gaiter around. This allowed you to get it very snug. It still works ok. If you want these for hunting, you should wear them 20 of 30 times first as they are quite noisy when new.
