Comments about Oboz Sawtooth Mid BDRY Men's Hiking Boot: After a couple of months the rubber on the outside of the toe begins to separate. This can be easily fixed with ShoeGoo. I day hike over a 1000 miles a year and after about a year the tread becomes very worn and loses much of its traction. This is the best day hiking boot I have found. It is the best fit for my wide forefoot and provides great support for my feet and ankles. It is light weight and great for long day hikes, 10 to 12 miles or longer. One negative is that it is not the warmest boot when the weather drops below 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

Comments about Oboz Sawtooth Mid BDRY Men's Hiking Boot: I day hike about twice a month. I recently purchased these boots and they are very comfortable. I ordered mens because they were not offered in woman's in the size I needed, but actually fit very well. They do require some break in though. Do wish they came up higher on the ankle for better support.
