I actually ordered half a size down. I wear a 10-1/2 and ordered a 10. They only come in whole sizes so I couldn't order a 9-1/2. Didn't matter because even the 10's were too small. They actually fit like 10's. What now, do I order 11? They'll probably be huge. No matter since they don't have any of those in stock anyway. I didn't check any other areas of this review since I haven't worn them. I'm returning them. Pros

Cons Best Uses Comments about Kamik Canuck Classic Winter Boot - Men's: This is a good boot but not what I was looking for, so I returned it. It ran true to size. The shape of the ankle area allows very easy off-on, but it also prevents the fit from being snug while walking. Even with the cord tightly cinched, I wanted more of a hiking boot fit, and this didn't do that. One other comment- the seam between the rubber shoe and the fabric upper had a spot where a rubber lip protruded in toward my ankle, and I was concerned that it would eventually wear a hole in the liner. I would have trimmed it with a razor blade if I kept them. I'm surprised the company allows that to happen. Other than that one feature, quality of construction appeared quite good.

Comments about Kamik Canuck Classic Winter Boot - Men's: I work in the Sierra's, usually deep snow, cold mornings, warmer afternoons. I'm in and out of my work truck all day, floor heater is junk, I wade thru snow, up steep rocky terrain with heavy equipment, for what I do, something with more ankle support would've been better. Otherwise, I do like the light, easy on and off, good price, and extra liner availability here. Better boot for around the house, snomobilin', etc.

These boots are meant to be worn with heavier socks. The rubber shoe parts are completely waterproof, the nylon uppers claim to be; my guess is that it is water resistant. Removable insulation/inner boot can be dried if it does get wet.

Comments about Kamik Canuck Classic Winter Boot - Men's: I live in the Sierra Nevada, I spend alot of time in the snow. I use alot of snow gear and decided to check out the kamich instead of the sorrels I usually buy every few years. These boots are made well, and warm, but the problem is the sizing. Some pairs are two sizes too big, others are small. I wear a 11, ordered a ten, and the left boot fits fine, the right is tight. For the cost its understandable, but if one wants a superior product one has to pay for it. If I had the choice I would not have gotten mine. So if you are able to see the boots first hand, and try them on, then they are a great boot, but if its not, then buyer beware...It will be hit or miss with sizes...Cant say enough for campmor though, first rate company who sent them super fast!

Comments about Kamik Canuck Classic Winter Boot - Men's: I bought these to replace my Mickey's that I'd had for 16 years but were finally starting to leak. I have not had a chance to use them this winter yet but have slipped them on to take the dog out in the rain. I wear and ordered a 12 and I think they will fit well with a thick pair of socks and room for a toe warmer if needed (hope it is not needed!)
